Dear Churchill Centre UK Members,

I am writing to inform you of the next event organised by The Churchill Centre (UK). This will be held at the St. Stephen’s Club in London on 28th February from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The address is 34 Queen Anne’s Gate, London SW1H 9AB

Speakers will include Lord Dobbs, best selling author and politician. There will be time for members to catch up with old friends and meet ones who share the same interest in Churchill and his contemporaries.

New members will have an opportunity to be welcomed personally by Celia Sandys and Randolph Churchill.

The price of attendance, which will cover the costs of the event, will be £25per person/ £30 for guests.

We recommend that you book early as places are limited and judging from last year, this event will be popular.

The committee is busy planning further events in the year and will inform you of the details in the Noticeboard. We are exploring the possibility of one event in June in the Houses of Parliament followed by an autumn event in the North of England.

Meanwhile, we are also offering schools educational membership of The Churchill Centre for £40, and plan to have a number of free educational places at all our events, including at the St Stephen’s Club.

This is in support of our efforts to widen the Centre’s appeal to the new generation and enable the Centre to benefit from the involvement of more teachers and students interested in this field.

You can help by informing any students and teachers you know of this opportunity. Please tell them to contact The Churchill Centre for further details.

Finally, when it comes to gifts for friends, why not provide a year’s subscription to The Churchill Centre (UK)? The Committee is considering an appropriate rewards scheme for those who bring in new members, so do let us know who you have recruited to the cause
