Join us in Philadelphia during this historic year for America!

ICS 2026 International Churchill Conference – Churchill & America during America’s 250th!

This year’s International Churchill Conference in Philadelphia will include a special Friday presentation bringing to life the remarkable—and only—meeting between Theodore Roosevelt and Winston Churchill. Conference attendees will be with us, but for a limited number of tickets we are offering people the opportunity to join us for one day only with the “Teddy Ticket.”

The two men met for dinner at the Governor’s Mansion in Albany on December 10, 1900. Roosevelt was 42 and preparing to become Vice President of the United States; Churchill was just 26, in America on a lecture tour and about to begin his parliamentary career. Their encounter has intrigued historians ever since.

On Friday, October 16, conference attendees will see that meeting reimagined in a special one-act dramatization featuring professional actors, developed and directed with the support of generous conference donors. The production will offer a lively theatrical look at two outsized personalities at the beginning of a new American century—and at a young Churchill still decades away from becoming the statesman the world would know.

To celebrate the presentation, ICS is offering a limited Friday-only “Teddy Ticket.”

Can’t join your fellow conference ticket attendees for the full day, consider the Teddy Ticket! The Teddy Ticket provides access to the full day of Friday conference sessions at the historic Union League of Philadelphia, including the theatrical presentation, as well as the evening reception and author book signing in the Union League Library. Friday sessions run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by the evening reception.

It is a special opportunity for those who cannot attend the entire three-day conference to experience a full day of Churchill & America programming—and one memorable encounter between Winston and Teddy.

Friday-only Teddy Tickets are limited. – Get yours today!
