The late Sir Martin Gilbert (1936–2015) passed away in February of this year. Since then his widow, Esther, has overseen the redesign of his official website in order to provide a lasting memorial to her husband that people can use to research the life and works of a truly prolific historian who did more than anyone else to document the life and times of Sir Winston Churchill.
