The Rt Hon Sir Nicholas Soames MP
On the evening of Thursday 12th October 2017, UK veterans organisation Stroll is holding the inaugural Stoll Lecture. This annual lecture with a military or Veteran related topic will feature a guest speaker of significant influence and specific knowledge with proceeds from ticket sales benefiting the work of Stoll in housing and helping vulnerable Veterans.
Still is pleased to announce that the topic of this inaugural lecture is Sir Winston Churchill and we are delighted to have The Rt. Hon. Sir Nicholas Soames MP speaking about his grandfather. Sir Nicholas will provide both a historical and personal perspective on arguably one of the greatest leaders of the 20th century.
Hosted in the historic Churchill War Rooms where Sir Winston led the Allies to victory in WWII, the 45-minute lecture will be followed by a 15-minute question and answer session. After the lecture VIP guests will be invited to a champagne reception in the historic Harmsworth Room where they will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Sir Nicholas.
Admission to the lecture includes entry to The Churchill War Rooms and Churchill Museum which will be open for all attendees for private viewing – allowing guests to explore the exhibitions at their leisure before and after the lecture.
This is a truly unique event hosted in a historic venue with a speaker of significant renown with intimate knowledge of the subject matter. For obvious reasons tickets are strictly limited and we encourage early purchase to avoid disappointment.
