Winston Churchill, Parliament Square, London © Sue Lowry & Magellan PR
Chartwell, the much-loved home in Kent that he bought in 1922 and which he enjoyed renovating and remodelling. This is where he lived with his wife Clementine and his children, and with his animals, and where he came to write, to think, to plan and to paint. The house remains today much as it was when the Churchills lived there.
