Retired US Navy Admiral James Stavridis will deliver the 2024 Enid and R. Crosby Kemper Lecture during the annual Churchill Fellows Weekend at America’s National Churchill Museum on the campus of Westminster College in Fulton, MO. Stavridis attended the US Naval Academy at Annapolis and spent more than thirty five years in the Navy, rising to the rank of 4-star Admiral. Among his many commands were four years as the 16th Supreme Allied Commander of NATO. Stavirdis now serves as Vice Chair, Global Affairs, for the Carlyle Group and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Rockefeller Foundation.
Other speakers this year will include Catherine Grace Katz, author of Daughters of Yalta, Roddy MacKenzie, author of Bomber Command: Churchill’s Greatest Triumph, Gerard Magliocca, Samuel L. Rosen Professor of Law at Indiana University, and Justin Reash, Executive Director of the International Churchill Society.
