The Churchill Society of Tennessee will host its second annual Churchill Symposium on Saturday, April 4th at the Belle Meade Country Club in Nashville. The subject of the day will be “Churchill in War and Peace” and will feature presentations by three leading Churchill scholars. Breakfast will be included, and the event is open to all who are interested.

This year’s program will include three speakers who are well-known to members of the International Churchill Society:

Douglas S. Russell, author of Winston S. Churchill: Soldier, The Military Life of a Gentleman at War.

Klaus Larres, author of Churchill’s Cold War

David Freeman, editor of Finest Hour, who will be discussing Churchill’s wartime speeches to the US Congress.

The symposium will begin with breakfast at 9:00 followed by presentations from 10 am to 1 pm and a book signing. Ticket prices are $45 per person and include breakfast and refreshments. The Belle Meade Country Club is located at 815 Belle Meade Blvd, Nashville, TN 37205
