James A. Baker, III, who served as Secretary of State from 1989–1992 under President George H. W. Bush, will deliver the Keynote speech at this year’s international Churchill conference. Secretary Baker will be introduced by Chris Matthews, the host of MSNBC Hardball and a trustee of The Churchill Centre. The black-tie gala that highlights this year’s conference will take place in the historic Benjamin Franklin State Dining Room at the US State Department.
