The 30th International Churchill Conference, organized in partnership with The George Washington University, is to be held at the Marvin Center on the university campus in Washington, D.C. Registration and a Welcome Reception will be held at the Park Hyatt Hotel on Thursday, October 31, 2013. Registration will move to the Marvin Center on Friday morning where all sessions will be held Friday and Saturday, November 1-2, 2013.
The theme of the conference is “Winston Churchill: Perspectives on Leadership.” An impressive array of speakers is being assembled who will examine the current state of Churchill scholarship; Churchill and the Presidency; Churchill and Military Leadership; and, Aspects of Churchill’s Leadership. Speakers will include Christopher Bell, Raymond Callahan, Sir David Cannadine, Williamson Murray, Andrew Roberts, and many others.
