A page from Churchill’s typewritten speech notes (set out in his usual ‘psalm’ style, to aid delivery) with the famous ‘this was their finest hour’ line (other phrases were very slightly altered in the recording; ‘duty’ was replaced with ‘duties’ and ‘its Commonwealth’ instead of just ‘Commonwealth’).
