New Package Available for the 2023 Churchill Conference

This year’s International Churchill Conference will take place on 5–7 October in Edinburgh, Scotland. Due to unprecedented demand, the fully-inclusive “Caledonian Package” (formerly known as the VIP) tickets have been entirely sold out. In response the International Churchill Society is pleased to announce the introduction of the “Admiralty Package.”

The new Admiralty ticket package includes a Pol Roger Welcome Reception aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia on Thursday, October 5, all conference lecture sessions as well as lunch at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on October 6, and a reception at Rooftops, the scenic lounge at the National Museum of Scotland, that same evening. The Admiralty package also includes the black-tie gala dinner at the Sheraton Grand Hotel on Saturday, October 7, at which the Keynote Address will be delivered by the Rt Hon The Lord Soames.

Please note that the Admiralty Package will not include access to the reception at Edinburgh Castle and the visit to Scone Palace, both of which have now sold out.

2025 International Churchill Conference

Join us for the 42nd International Churchill Conference. Washington, DC | October 9-11, 2025
2025 International Churchill Conference

Launched by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Scotland in 1953, Royal Yacht Britannia entered service the following year, and continued to remain the residence of the Royal Family at sea for forty-three years before being decommissioned in 1997. Since then it has been moored at Leith, a 15-minute drive from the conference hotel. Conference participants will have behind-the-ropes access to the ship, including the State Rooms, Royal Deck, and Officers Ward Room. Transportation will be provided.

Admiralty Package ticket holders will also enjoy a very special evening at Rooftops on the top level of the National Museum of Scotland. This breathtaking location has unrivaled views of Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town, all spectacularly lit after dark. If weather permits, guests will be able to use the outside roof terrace for entertainment and photo opportunities.

During the Rooftops reception, drinks and canapés will be served throughout the evening, and the museum’s Scottish galleries will remain open for viewing. Each guest will also have the opportunity to attend a specially curated private tour, A History of Scotland in 10 Objects.

More programming will be announced during the coming months. We look forward to welcoming you this October to Edinburgh.

A tribute, join us
