Churchill Grave 2014-163 optWithin view of Churchill’s birthplace, Blenheim Palace, the churchyard of St. Martin’s, in the village of Bladon, is the final resting place of Sir Winston Churchill and the members of his immediate family—parents, brother, wife, children and grandson. A service of commemoration will take place at the family gravesite on the final day of this year’s 32nd International Churchill Conference.

Churchill Grave 2014-134 optThe site of a church since at least the twelfth century, the present structure was completed in 1804 with materials paid for by the 4th Duke of Marlborough. A new stained glass window commemorating Churchill’s life will soon be added: see back cover for details.
