2022 Churchill Conference Will Take Place October 6–8

The International Churchill Society is pleased to announce that Candice Millard, Katherine Carter, and Sean McMeekin will be featured speakers at the 2022 International Churchill Conference “Churchill: War and Peace.” For full conference details and to register, please CLICK HERE.

Candice Millard, a Kansas City native, will be acting as honorary Master of Ceremonies for the conference. She is the author of several best-selling books including Hero of the Empire: The Boer War, a Daring Escape and the Making of Winston Churchill and the upcoming River of the Gods: Genius, Courage, and Betrayal in the Search for the Source of the Nile.

Katherine Carter is Property Curator at Chartwell, the country home of Sir Winston Churchill that is now one of the most visited properties in the National Trust. A member of the Churchill Society’s Operations Committee, Carter co-hosted last year’s conference, frequently contributes to the journal Finest Hour, and has curated many exhibits at Chartwell.

Dr. Sean McMeekin is the Francis Flournoy Professor of European History and Culture at Bard College. He is the author of numerous books including July 1914: Countdown to War and Stalin’s War: A New History of World War II.
