This beaker measures six inches tall and is made of Bakelite, an early form of plastic. It features a transfer pattern featuring the Big Three—Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt, and Joseph Stalin—along with the bold slogan “United for Victory.”

Such items were made beginning in 1943 when Stalin formally allied with the anti-Axis coalition. This particular transfer pattern of the Big Three is not identified by maker but it can also be found on plates, bowls, and other household items made for use in wartime Britain. Of all the utilitarian items made during the war featuring the Big Three, this is one of the better designed transfer patterns and is a welcome addition to any collection.
