ICS Chairman Helps to Fund Educational Opportunities

International Churchill Society Chairman Laurence Geller is helping to fund new scholarship opportunities at University College, London (UCL) and New York University (NYU).

The Pentland Churchill Scholarship was established in 2018 and is an expansion of the Pentland Scholarship, which was initially established by Stephen Rubin at UCL in 2015. From academic year 2019/20 the Scholarship will support two students on the Executive Masters in Public Administration run jointly by the UCL School of Public Policy and the NYU Wagner School.

The scholarships are open to applicants from low and middle-income countries (as defined by World Bank) who can demonstrate a commitment, via their past record or future plans, to improving public service and administration for the populations of low or middle-income countries. Each scholarship is worth £52,605.
