Conference_LogoThe thirtieth annual gathering of The Churchill Centre is due to start in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, 31 Oct. We are expecting record attendance at this year’s conference, a testimonial to the range and calibre of speakers on our program including Andrew Roberts, Sir David Cannadine and Paul Reid.  The theme of the conference is “Winston Churchill: Perspectives on Leadership.”  To view the complete conference program, CLICK HERE.  To register online, simply CLICK HERE.  Walk-up registration will also be accepted at the conference headquarters in the Park Hyatt Hotel at 24th & M Streets, NW, Washington starting at 9:00 am on October 31.

The next event will be that evening at the hotel with our traditional Welcome Reception at 5:30 pm in the Gallery Ballroom.  For first-time attendees, a special reception will be held at 5:00 pm in Salon 1-2 so that you may meet some of our Board members. The optional Washington-by-Night Tour will depart from the hotel at 6:30 pm.

On Friday morning, November 1st, walk-up conference registration will open at 8:00 am in the Marvin Center at The George Washington University, located at the corner of 22nd and H streets, NW.  Buses will depart the Park Hyatt Hotel at 8:30 am to transport everyone to the Marvin Center. Registration and book sellers will be in Room 302 just across from the third-floor Grand Ballroom where conference panels will take place starting at 9:00 am.  Lunch at noon will also be served in the Ballroom, and buses will return everyone to the Park Hyatt after the last afternoon session.
