The Queen’s Royal Hussars to Join ICS Meeting in Washington

Early-bird tickets for the 42nd Annual International Churchill Conference, which will be held in Washington, D.C., October 9 to 11, 2025, are currently on sale. Long-time ICS supporters Ron and Eleanor Luke will once again generously sponsor the participation of officers from Winston Churchill’s former regiment, The Queen’s Royal Hussars. The appearance of officers of the Queen’s Royal Hussars has become one of the most popular elements of the Churchill conference. The modern descendant of the regiment in which Churchill served in the days of Queen Victoria, today’s Hussars are an armoured regiment equipped with Challenger 2 tanks. They proudly describe themselves as “Churchill’s Own.” Having a picture with the Hussars in their dress uniforms has become a ”must” element of the International Conference.
