The International Churchill Society (ICS) condemns in the strongest possible terms the terrorism that Hamas has perpetrated against innocent Israeli civilians. ICS fully supports Israel’s right to defend itself. 

Sir Winston Churchill was a lifelong friend of the Jewish people, an ardent proponent of a Jewish Homeland in Palestine, and strong supporter of Israel.  As Sir Martin Gilbert wrote in ICS’ magazine Finest Hour, “Churchill’s 1922 White Paper established that the Jews were in Palestine ‘of right, and not on sufferance, and that this is based on their ancient historical connection.’”
