In 1920, women were also given the vote when the 19th Amendment (finally) declared: ‘The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.’
In 1924 later the Indian Citizenship Act was also passed granting full citizenship to all Native Americans. But the voting rights of racial minorities was still a big issue.
