Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire was his grandparents’ house where he was born. This is where he played as a child, where he proposed to his wife-to-be and where (in the local churchyard) he is buried. At one point, he even stood to inherit the Palace and, with it, the title of Duke of Marlborough.
