Sir Conor Burns Will Speak at America’s National Churchill Museum

America’s National Churchill Museum (ANCM) will host its annual Churchill Fellows Weekend on April 25–26. Delivering this year’s Enid and R. Crosby Kemper Lecture will be Sir Conor Burns, who previously served as British Envoy to the United States for Trade and Investment. For full details and to register, please CLICK HERE.

Born in Belfast, Sir Conor Burns graduated with a degree in Modern History and Politics from the University of Southampton. After serving as a Councillor in Southampton, he was elected as Member of Parliament for Bournemouth West in 2010. He served on the Education Committee as well as the Committee for Culture, Media and Sport Select. Under Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Sir Conor served as Minister for Trade Policy and also as Minister of State for Northern Ireland.

This year, ANCM marks the successful completion of the current phase of preservation of the magnificent Sir Christopher Wren church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury. ANCM is the home to a world-class collection, which is widely regarded as the finest of its kind in North America. Unless indicated otherwise, all sessions, exhibitions, and events are free and open to the public.
