National Churchill Leadership Center Fall Programming

The National Churchill Leadership Center (NCLC) is kicking off the fall semester at George Washington University (GWU) with two exciting events in October including an open house to welcome members and visitors back to our offices after the pandemic closure.

On Thursday, September 29, NCLC Program Director Justin Reash will be in conversation with Jeff Rosen on the Resilience of the American Constitution. Jeff is a member of the GWU law faculty, a world-renowned constitutional scholar, and the CEO of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Register for the event to attend in-person or online.

On Monday, October 3, the NCLC will be hosting an open house to celebrate its sixth anniversary of opening. Why sixth? Because COVID, of course, prevented the celebration of its fifth anniversary in 2021.

The open house will be from 2–5 pm and will include refreshments, trivia, a raffle, and more. Programming will commence at 3:00 pm with remarks by GWU Dean Geneva Henry. Chartwell Curator Katherine Carter will then give a curatorial chat on a special exhibition on view at the Center, titled Churchill and the Crown, which was previously displayed at Chartwell.

Register to attend the open house and register for Katherine’s in-person curatorial discussion.
