Registration Opens for the 33rd International Churchill Conference,
27–29 October at the Historic Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D. C.

“Churchill: Friends and Contemporaries” will be the theme of The Churchill Centre’s Thirty-third International Conference, which will take place in Washington, D. C. in conjunction with the opening of the National Churchill Library on the campus of The George Washington University. Registration is now open. To register online, please CLICK HERE. Churchill Centre members receive a 10% discount on all tickets by entering promotional code TCCINDC after selecting their tickets (you can find the promotional code selection just under the “Student Registration” line). Enter the promotional code TCCinDC and click “Apply”; tickets will then reflect the discounted price. 

First-time conference speakers will include best-selling author Candice Millard on “Churchill in South Africa” and Lord Watson of Richmond on “Churchill and Europe.” Return favorites will include Andrew Roberts and Sir David Cannadine.

Conference Schedule

  • Thursday, October 27: Conference opens with reception and dinner including themed entertainment from Churchill’s era.
  • Friday, October 28: Full day of panel sessions including luncheon with guest speaker and gala black-tie dinner in the historic Benjamin Franklin State Dining Room at the State Department
  • Saturday, October 29: Additional panels followed by lunch and afternoon tours of the new National Churchill Library at The George Washington University including private viewing of Churchill’s Second World War Engagement Diary
