Churchills-Finest-Hours_smThe Churchill Centre is pleased to offer its members a special discount on purchases of a new limited edition print by internationally acclaimed artist Edwina Sandys, granddaughter of Sir Winston Churchill. The new image depicts Sir Winston Churchill working on his own painting Bottlescape, (1932), which still hangs outside the dining room in his Chartwell home.

Edwina Sandys has enjoyed a celebrated and accomplished career in sculpture, painting and writing. Her works are displayed at venues around the world, including United Nations centers and the Brooklyn Museum. In 1984, with her sister Celia Sandys, Edwina curated the exhibition: Painting As a Pastime: The Paintings of Winston S. Churchill Centre Executive Director Lee Pollock noted, “This charming and delightful image is a perfect addition to every Churchill collection and continues Edwina’s series of beautiful depictions of her grandfather.”
