Kevin Lacy on “Young Churchill at War”

The Southern California Churchillians heard Kevin Lacy, noted expert on military history, speak on “Young Churchill at War”. Lacey addressed Churchill’s time spent in the Sudan including the cavalry charge against the Dervishes, the death of General Gordon, and the mahdi.

The event was organized by Leon Waszak, President,and Bond Nichols, Vice President, of the Churchillians of Southern California. Forty attendees enjoyed an excellent luncheon served by Tantalum overlooking the yacht moorages in the Long Beach Marina.
